The Mustang Mach-E has problems with its HVAC system that prevent the car from heating in cold climates. The air vents don’t blow out warm air, and the cabin becomes uncomfortable, and the windows can ice up. At this time, neither Ford nor dealerships have a lot of solutions for this problem.
One customer from Minnesota explained in a youtube video that, after 36 minutes of heating, the cabin temperature only reached a temperature of 57 F. Another customer verified the heating defect by logging the heating data.
When customers take the car to a dealer to be serviced, the dealers say that the issue cannot be fixed.
There was a similar class action lawsuit against Jeep Wrangler. The lawsuit states that certain vehicles have a manufacturing defect that damages the vehicles’ radiators, oil coolers, and other components. This caused the heater, defroster, and air conditioning systems to fail.
