Mazda’s CX-7 and CX-9 headlights are very dim, not sufficiently illuminating the road and compromising drivers’ safety in dark and inclement conditions.
Several customers of the Mazda CX-7 and CX-9 report their headlights being extremely dim and not sufficiently illuminating the road for them to be able to drive safely in dark conditions. Customers report the issue persisting even after replacing the bulbs on their headlights, indicating that the problem is one with the entire headlight assembly, a much more costly repair. In addition, some customers report their headlights blowing out completely multiple times.
The issue appears to affect the 2010 CX-7, 2011 CX-7, 2012 CX-7, the 2008 CX-9, 2010 CX-9, and likely other models as well.
