Owners of the Dyson Pure Cool, TP04 Air Purifier report product vibration and noise. Dyson has communicated the vibration and noise are due to motor cover vibration resonance. Dyson repair technicians state the issue cannot be fixed and have instead offered to replace the product. Customers report the replacement products to have the same noise issue.
Customers often use this air purifier at night when they are sleeping. Dyson specifically advertises the product as having a nighttime mode that “purifies using quiet settings.” However, customers complain that they are unable to use the product at night due to the loud, and distracting noise. Therefore, customers are upset that their $594.00 air purifier cannot be used for its intended purpose.
A class action against Molekule’s air purifiers was recently settled based on its false and misleading claims about the air purifiers’ nature and efficacy.
Customers who purchased the Air Purifier directly from Dyson, as opposed to a third party retailer like Amazon, may be subject to Dyson’s terms of service’s mandatory arbitration provision.
