TP Link falsely advertises internet connection speeds

TP-Link Technologies Company is a global manufacturer of computer networking products.

Consumers purchase the Deco M9 plus to improve their internet connection strength and speed. However, consumers complain that the product does not deliver the improved connection strength and speed as advertised. Specifically, the Deco M9 Plus advertises speeds up to 2200 MBPS, but users report that they cannot reach speeds higher than 500 MBPS.

TP link’s warranty terms do not contain an arbitration provision.

There was a similar class action lawsuit against Cox Internet. The lawsuit states that Cox overstated its internet speeds in order to deceive consumers and charge higher prices.
